Challenged-credit funding is supposed to be temporary. Every file we place at this tier carries a plan: dispute genuine inaccuracies, bring revolving utilization under ten percent, resolve collections with written terms, add a secured trade line, eliminate negative days in the business account, and start entity credit through vendors that report.
Owners who execute that plan typically move from a 1.35 factor product to a bank-statement term loan within nine months, and to a line of credit inside eighteen. The capital gets cheaper each round. That progression is the only real measure of whether the strategy is working.
Two things to refuse along the way. Refuse any lender or broker who asks for a large fee before funding — legitimate compensation arrives at close. And refuse to stack advances, no matter how easy the approval is.
